The EW-55 Lens Hood is designed to prevent stray light from entering your RF 28mm F2.8 STM Lens while the interior satin texture on its inner circumference reduces flare and ghosting during photography. The hood is easy to fit due to its simple screw-on design, and it can even protect the front of your lens against accidental damage, knocks and scrapes. The heat shield coating reduces air temperature to prevent heat haze as well, making it great for use in harsh environments.
